Built by someone who's
been in your shoes
APEX System wasn't built by software engineers who've never sold a Medicare policy. It was built by a Medicare insider who lived the problems you're facing right now.
Michael Sorensen
Michael Sorensen isn't a software entrepreneur who spotted a market opportunity. He's a Medicare industry veteran who built APEX System because he needed it himself.
Michael's career in Medicare spans the full ecosystem. He's been a licensed Medicare insurance agent with a book of over 200 clients — so he knows what it feels like to juggle AEP chaos, missed follow-ups, and clients slipping through the cracks. He's served as a Director at a Medicare Supplement Carrier, giving him an insider's view of how carriers think, what they expect from agents, and what compliance really means. And he's worked at an FMO (Field Marketing Organization), where he saw firsthand how agencies struggle to scale their operations beyond a handful of agents.
Every role taught him the same lesson: the agencies that win aren't the ones with the best agents — they're the ones with the best systems. The agencies that capture every lead, follow up instantly, retain their book, and know their numbers are the ones that grow. The ones running on spreadsheets and gut feel eventually hit a wall they can't get past.
That's why he built APEX System — a platform that gives Medicare agency owners the same operational firepower that large agencies have, without the headcount or the IT department. Every feature in APEX System exists because Michael has personally felt the pain of not having it.
